July 2026 1.00As a frequent Airbnb guest, I've never had a bad experience until this stay. Red flags started immediately: the host pushed our 4 PM check-in to 5 PM on the day of arrival. Then, the promised "self check-in with a keypad" changed to them manually handing us a key or hiding it. When we arrived, the house felt entirely unready. The fridge and freezer were completely packed with personal food, and used loofahs were left hanging in the shower. I opened the master bedroom drawers to unpack, only to find them full of the owner's personal belongings and undergarments. We felt like intruders in someone else's space, not paying guests who spent a pretty penny. Additionally, a second bedroom pictured in the listing was barricaded by furniture. The entire vibe felt incredibly eerie. We were so uncomfortable that we left after just 10 minutes. To make matters worse, the hosts lied to Airbnb support, refused a full refund, and sent a lengthy defensive message. Avoid this listing.
